The Mission of the Mount Holly Fire Department is to promote life safety for the residents and visitors of Mount Holly Township through the effective delivery of community education, code enforcement, and emergency services. We are committed to serving our community with professionalism, excellence, and devotion to duty.
The Mount Holly Fire District No. 1 is an all-volunteer fire department which has its roots dating back to the mid eighteenth century with the formation of the Britannia Fire Company of Bridgetown. With over 250 years of committed service, the Mount Holly Fire District No. 1 continues to proudly serve the residents of Mount Holly and its surrounding communities. As the fire service and its mission have evolved over the past decades, this District and its member companies have prided themselves on its rich history and would like to share its many milestones with you.
The Mount Holly Fire District is accepting applications for those interested in serving as firefighters in their community. Pair this unique training opportunity with tuition credit assistance at local institutions and you have a rewarding experience which is second to none. District officers are always ready and willing to answer the questions of those interested in pursuing this gratifying endeavor. Applications are available in the Office of the Chief which is located at the Relief Fire Company, 17 Pine Street.
